Strategy Manager

A high growth start up who are revolutionizing the insurance market are currently seeking a Strategy Manager to join them on a permanent basis, the successful candidate will obtain a position of great responsibility and will help to drive the future direction of the business, whilst contributing to highly important business decisions alongside some of the most senior stakeholders.

The duties of the role include but are not limited to:

Developing and overseeing the companies long-term strategic and financial plan, in collaboration with the CEO, CFO, Head of Corporate Development, CIO and the Senior Leadership Team

Planning and coordinating monthly strategy sessions with the Senior Leadership Team, including the preparation of supporting material to facilitate the discussion.

Working with company leaders to preparing and compile Board meeting collateral.

Assisting leaders across the business, providing support in the implementation of operational strategy (e.g., environmental, social and corporate governance)

Coordination and day-to-day execution of strategic projects (e.g., fundraising)

Collaborating with the Head of Corporate Development to identify and prioritise corporate development activities to further expand the companies footprint. You'll provide support and assess (and progress) opportunities as needed.

The successful candidate will have:

Ideally 3 years experience within a strategy consultancy or similar In-house strategic team. You'll be used to pulling together strategic business plans.

Experience within financial services - ideally, worked in insurance or insurtech.

A solid understanding of financial data (P&L and Balance Sheet) as well as Insurance data sets.

Used to crafting insight from data - pulling key Insight Into a compelling story.

Proficient in Excel and able perform in-depth analysis and to create reports, consolidates information etc. You'll have some experience with data visualisation tools like VBS, SQL and PowerBI
