A fast-growing, global insurance technology consultancy is expanding its UK footprint and is seeking a Pricing Lead Consultant to play a pivotal role in that growth.
The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, you will take ownership of the Pricing competency, acting as the go-to expert across UK and international engagements. You will shape how pricing modernisation is conceived, sold and delivered, spanning rating, tariff build and migration, governance, and technology-enabled transformation for leading insurers. You will be trusted to set direction, represent the firm in senior client forums, and influence how pricing capability is built globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the pricing vision, strategy and roadmap, shaping the evolution of the firm's Pricing Competency.
- Act as a trusted advisor on pricing transformation, covering methodology, modelling, governance and the adoption of modern pricing tools and platforms (e.g. Earnix, Radar, Hyperexponential, Quantee).
- Lead and support presales activity, co-creating propositions, case studies and demos with Sales and Delivery, and representing the firm in client meetings and workshops.
- Sponsor and assure delivery across complex programmes, supporting solution design and ensuring alignment with pricing best practice and modern technology stacks.
- Build internal capability through frameworks, methodologies and accelerators, mentoring consultants and growing pricing expertise across the organisation.
About You
You bring a strong blend of pricing/actuarial domain expertise, consulting experience and technology-enabled transformation, ideally gained within leading Non-Life insurers. You are credible with C-level stakeholders and Heads of Pricing/Underwriting/Risk, able to translate complex pricing challenges into clear solution concepts, operating models and business cases. You are comfortable working autonomously in cross-functional, agile environments, combining analytical rigour with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset, and have hands-on exposure to modern pricing platforms (such as Earnix, Radar, Hyperexponential or Quantee) and contemporary data/analytics tooling.
