A client in the public sector transformation space is seeking a Consultant/PMO to join the team. You will support the delivery of social care transformation projects within a local authority, working closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and improved outcomes for the community.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of social care transformation initiatives
• Manage multiple workstreams, timelines, KPIs, and reporting
• Liaise with internal teams and council stakeholders to maintain alignment
• Contribute to business case development and project documentation
• Ensure smooth coordination across functions and maintain project momentum

Requirements

• Strong consulting experience from a management consultancy (Big 4 or similar)
• Proven experience in social care transformation or related public sector projects
• Project/programme management experience within complex environments
• Public sector experience, ideally within local authorities
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and workstreams simultaneously
• Proficiency in business case writing and data analysis

• Duration: 3 months with potential to extend
• Day Rate: Up to £260 PAYE + 12.07% holiday pay (equivalent to £291.38/day)
• Location: Hybrid, 2-3 days in Central London office with occasional site visits
