A household retailer is undertaking a full company transformation programme and is in the process of assembling their transformation function, filled with people who are passionate about delivering results and making an impact on day one.

They are seeking experienced Senior Data Engineer Managers to work across various teams focused on developing data products which sit at the heart of the commercial and data strategies.

You will lead, manage and mentor teams of data engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and support to foster their professional growth and development. You will lead the delivery, implementation, and optimization of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouse solutions to support business requirements, analytical and data science needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including data science, analytics, technology, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that drive business value.

Requirements:

• 7+ years in a Data Engineering Role
• Excellent proficiency in SQL, Python, Microsoft Azure, Databricks, PySpark,
• Experience managing a team

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 3 months, option for permanent extension
• Day rate: Up to £400Ltd, depending on experience
• Annual Salary: £80,000
• Location: Mostly remote, some occasional travel to Northern office
