Project Manager - HR Tech & Process Improvement Focus

A global training and enablement consultancy is seeking a Project Manager with a strong focus on HR technology and process optimisation. This role will report into the People Ops & Culture Lead and partner closely with the People Operations Generalist to deliver foundational improvements across systems and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the optimisation and full utilisation of HR platforms including BambooHR, Culture Amp, Fixer.ai, and payroll integrations
  • Drive automation of manual processes and support the globalisation of payroll operations, including EOR systems
  • Collaborate with FinOps and other teams to ensure compliance and operational alignment (e.g. HMRC, contracts)
  • Document processes and deliver training and handover to the People Operations Generalist for long-term ownership
  • Communicate tech changes clearly to the wider business and support adoption

Candidate Profile:

  • Experienced in HRIS platforms, automation, and operational HR
  • Skilled at identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable, sustainable solutions
  • Strong communicator with a proactive, improvement-driven mindset
  • Commercially aware and able to balance innovation with business needs
  • Consulting background preferred, but not essential

Role Details:

  • Reports into: People Ops & Culture Lead
  • Start Date: November
  • Salary: £50 - 60k (pro rata), depending on experience and impact
  • Duration: 3 - 6 months (contract or part-time shared role within FinOps)
  • Location: Remote, infrequent in-person events
