The Role
A client in the professional development and training industry is seeking a Project Manager to join the team for a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will lead the delivery of critical enablement projects focused on improving business processes, systems, and operational capabilities. Reporting to the Change and Transformation Director, the objective of the project is to drive efficiency and adapt to evolving policy requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of enablement projects, ensuring scope, timelines, risks, and outcomes are clearly defined and managed
- Take ownership of current projects, including transforming the learner onboarding process and delivering mandated changes to assessment delivery
- Support initiation and delivery of future process and capability improvement projects
- Develop clear project plans, RAID logs, KPIs, and reporting
- Run effective governance routines including project updates, steering sessions, and stakeholder engagement
- Engage and coordinate colleagues across key functions, facilitating workshops and requirements gathering
- Facilitate process discovery and redesign activities to improve learner and colleague experience
- Work with technical teams to manage system dependencies, requirements, testing, and implementation plans
- Identify risks, issues, and dependencies early and propose mitigation strategies
- Ensure business readiness for changes, including training and communications
- Build and maintain project documentation and support sustainable handovers
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering process-focused change projects in commercial organisations
- Strong understanding of projects with technical or system dependencies, including working with Product/Tech teams
- Excellent planning, organisation, and governance skills
- Ability to work with ambiguity and shape structure from evolving requirements
- Clear, confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience in workshops, process mapping, requirements gathering, and change planning
- Strong problem-solving skills and delivery-focused mindset
- Experience supporting business readiness or impact assessments
