A client in the public sector consulting industry is seeking a Consultant or Junior Manager to join the team for an initial 3-month period.

You will support a range of live and pipeline workstreams across a regional healthcare system, working closely with senior managers and directors to deliver performance, procurement and operational improvements. The role will sit within an existing programme team and will flex across projects depending on capacity and seniority.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of cost improvement, procurement, operational redesign, contract management and performance improvement projects
  • Shape public sector business cases and contribute to financial modelling where required
  • Produce high-quality deliverables, reports, analysis and workshop outputs
  • Take responsibility for workstreams aligned to experience and work confidently with senior managers or directors

 

Requirements

  • Senior Consultant or Junior Manager level experience
  • Background in public sector consulting, ideally with experience in procurement, business cases, financial modelling or analytical work
  • Highly flexible, adaptable and able to work across varied project types
  • Healthcare experience advantageous but not essential
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop management skills

 

Details

  • Start date: ASAP
  • Duration: 3 months, with potential to extend
  • Day rate: Up to £600 Ltd for Junior Manager level, depending on seniority
  • Location: Hybrid, 3 days per week in central London office
