A manufacturing company who specialise in creating prefabricated products have just been invested in by a PE firm and are going through an exciting period of growth and change.

They have been assessing their product offering, which currently is highly bespoke, and are looking to establish a more standardised product line to create greater operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Understand what products are currently being created, both internally but also by competitors, gathering competitor and industry trends
• Creation of a plan for a standardised product offering, including go to market strategy - product (re)design, pricing, etc
• Overall business cost reduction analysis

Requirements

• Consultant, with particular experience in product design and go to market strategy
• Comfortable building financial and price elasticity models
• Industry experience and knowledge of manufacturing is essential, additionally prefabrication experience is highly desirable

• Day rate: £500 - 700 ltd
• Start date: Flexible within August
• Length: 2 month initial engagement, with possibility to extend
