A freight provider based across the UK and Europe are currently undertaking a large multi-year investment and transformation programme.

We're working with the Strategy & Transformation Director, who is currently seeking to add to their team a Logistics Programme Manager, who will oversee the operating model redesign of end-to-end logistics which the company offers, streamlining the services offered to create a more seamless service across multiple modes of freight haulage.

Responsibilities

• Assess current operating model, working closely with stakeholders to define challenges and pain points.
• Build a new operating model to more effectively track bookings and fill rates, as well as improve communication channels along the supply chain.
• Create an internal data platform, building a more intelligent data function which can collect better and more insightful data to track performance.
• Contribute to governance framework and ensure reporting and accountabilities are clearly communicated and understood.

Requirements

• Previous consulting experience, ideally to a manager level
• Programme management ability, with a strong track record of project governance and effective delivery
• Target operating model redesign experience and process improvement
• Logistics, shipping, rail, freight, etc. exposure is desirable, but not required

• Rate: Around £1,000 per day (LTD), based on experience
• Location: Hybrid, remote with 2-3 days travelling per week
