A household retailer is undertaking a full company transformation programme and is in the process of assembling their transformation function, filled with people who are passionate about delivering results and making an impact on day one.

This is an exciting and challenging role that offers the opportunity to manage the delivery of projects worth tens of millions of pounds and support one of retail's largest upcoming transformation programmes in the UK.

They are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to work across various teams focused on developing data products which sit at the heart of the commercial and data strategies. You will work closely with the data product owner, data scientists, and business stakeholders.

Requirements:

• University degree in a relevant STEM discipline
• 3-4 years' work experience as a Data Engineer working with big data
• Excellent Python, PySpark, Databricks, and SQL skills
• Experience building data products in the cloud on Azure, with Pyspark and Databricks
• Experience with productionising data products with CI/CD pipelines is desirable

• Duration: 7 months contract, with possibility of going permanent
• Salary: Up to £200/day on contract, £50,000 per annum
• Location: Can be remote, with some occasional travel to office in West Yorkshire
