CONSULTANT

The Role

A consultancy client is seeking a Consultant to work with their end client in the shipping and logistics industry for a three week strategy study. You will contribute to core analytical workstreams including market assessment, scenario development and financial performance analysis, working closely with the project lead to support the delivery of key insights. The objective of the study is to help the client shape its strategic direction across its chemical and product tanker operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market analysis and support the development of strategic scenarios
• Contribute to financial performance decomposition and related analytical workstreams
• Produce clear, structured insights and support the creation of deliverables
• Work closely with the client team during onsite days
• Collaborate with the project lead to ensure smooth day-to-day execution of the study

Requirements

• Experience in strategy consulting and project management from a well-known consultancy (MBB, Big4 or Boutique).
• Experience in shipping is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of energy, chemicals or adjacent sectors is helpful
• Strong analytical skills and comfort with quantitative and qualitative work
• Ability to be on site in Denmark 3-4 days per week (EU passport helpful)
• Ability to deliver high quality work within tight timelines

• Day rate: 600-800 LTD, DOE
• Location: 3-4 days per week on client site in Denmark, 2 hours outside Copenhagen
