A global leader in the design, marketing and distribution of premium lifestyle products is seeking a customer data platform product manager, to join their global customer insights team.

 

You will be responsible for leading the development of their customer data platform. The ideal candidate will understand customer facing businesses, have ROI-driven digital marketing acumen, be data fluent, and play a pivotal role to bridge the gap between business and technical teams.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Bridge the gap between the business and IT; ensure all requirements are documented, understood, and delivered.
  • Own customer data platform development and product roadmap, promoting its value proposition and communicating new features to internal stakeholders.
  • Partner and collaborate with regional customer insight teams in US and EMEA, managing best practice communication and guidelines.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for platform-related questions and support resolution of data issues.
  • Understand consumer privacy regulations like GDPR and work with DPO, legal, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure compliance.
  • Work to define data maps and schemas to support business use cases, focusing on enabling a customer-centric approach and multi-channel campaign orchestration.

 

Requirements

 

  • Experience leading projects across large matrix organizations.
  • Data-fluent with a minimum of 5 years' experience in data-driven CRM teams, digital marketing, or CRM analytics. Proficient in analytical tools such as SQL.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with project management software like Jira or Confluence.
  • Good understanding of CDPs and related technologies such as data management platforms, data lakes, and marketing automation tools.
  • Organised, collaborative, and structured approach to managing project ambiguity and complexity.
  • Experience at a luxury retailer would be desirable.

  • 12-month FTC.
  • Start date: ASAP.
  • Hybrid working - 3 days in central London office.
  • Salary £70,000 +, depending on experience.
