A boutique analytics consultancy is seeking a business analyst to assist them in accelerating the data journey of a large organisation.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the design, development, and implementation of business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Azure and Fabric. Your will leverage your expertise in data analysis, Azure-based platforms, and data warehousing methodologies such as Kimball.

Responsibilities:

• Engage business users to understand their needs and translate into technical requirement for development.

• Source data samples for exploratory analysis.

• Data process mapping.

• Conduct analysis to generate summary level insights, data quality, and clean data.

• Apply Kimball data warehousing methodology to inform design and development of dimensional models.

Requirements

• 3-5 years Business Analyst experience

• Knowledge of Kimball data warehousing methodology (star schema, modelling, ETL).

• Proficient with SQL for analysis.

• Experience in agile projects (low level CMMI) working with sprints.

• Top level understanding of Microsoft Azure & Fabric.

• Knowledge of BI tools.

• Desirable experience in the technology consultancy world.

• Daily rate: £180 - 200 PAYE dependent on experience.

• Location: Remote (occasional in person meetings in London)
