Freshminds was founded with a mission; to drive success by connecting businesses to the best people. After nearly 20 years of progress, we’re not the same company as we were – we’ve grown with our network both in scale and seniority – but this mission remains the same.
Over the years, a lot has changed; our markets have grown and evolved. We needed something new to reflect the depth and breadth of our offering for 2020 and beyond – working now across permanent search, on-demand consulting and fully managed research projects.
So we’re delighted to be releasing our refreshed brand to the world and share it with you.
Change of scope. Change of scale.
In 2000, we placed our first Analyst on a two week long project with a UK insurance firm. Continuing to build from our original research roots into resourcing projects and permanent searches, we now place thousands of Analysts to Experts speaking 44 different languages in 26 different countries.
Our clients now rank among the world’s most ambitious companies and our sector reach is varied: we’re proud to have built successful long-term partnerships across a base that includes Private Equity, Professional Services, Retail, Banking and Digital. We’re working with a much broader range of experience too – from high powered graduates to senior experts and the C-suite. Our network now comprises some of the most driven, talented and ambitious people across the commercial, strategic and analytical space, with each person assessed to ensure that they have the right skills and experience to work across the broad base of our client demands.
As an early pioneer of freelance working, the principles of agility, flexibility and a focus on impact have always been at the core of the way we work. Twenty years on, in a world now far more in touch with the gig economy, we’re equipped to deal with speed and precision to a vast range of needs: for individuals, whole teams, people-based consulting, strategic expertise and fully managed expert-led research projects. We help businesses scale and transform, we help candidates at all levels to grow their careers, and we push ourselves to continually consider results for clients and candidates beyond the initial brief.
A fresh new look
Our refreshed brand is built to reflect our resourcing and consulting outlook, a more global stance, and flexibility to deliver excellence on demand across a wide range of remits.
Our values – Excellence, Drive, Collaboration, Connected – continue to underpin us and we’ve added two new ones: Agility and Focus on Impact to mirror our positioning and way of working both internally and externally.
Our new logo encompasses the connected line and network that we manage, as well as the agile approach. The updated colour pallet, including a unique racing green, has been created to help communicate to our range of audiences in the right way. Our new website has also been designed to reflect our tone and display more about what we do. The navigation was created to be more user-friendly for the different users, embedding relevant roles and content across the different areas to help with navigation and discovery.
2020 and beyond
Next year marks our 20th anniversary as a business, and we have a host of activities planned to mark this milestone.
We have made many significant and lasting connections over the years and will continue to do that. For our candidate network, it’s about helping people into their first internship, through to a senior corporate job or project and offering advice and support throughout the way. For clients, it remains focused on making the connections to the best people, teams or outsourcing a business requirement – giving them the insight they need to make long-lasting decisions.
Today, we don’t just do jobs and projects, but also help companies to scale their teams and candidates at all levels grow – and fast.
We continue to invest heavily in our updated search technology, platforms and systems to make the process of attracting, managing and placing people as useful as possible. But it’s also the dynamic and hardworking Freshminds team behind everything that has enabled us to grow and develop to the company that we are today.
