HR/People Business Partner - Training & Development
The Role
A client in the global learning and enablement industry is seeking a People Business Partner to join the team for a fixed‑term contract. You will act as a trusted adviser to managers across the organisation, supporting them in building high‑performing, healthy teams while navigating growth and organisational change. You will work closely with senior leaders to provide strategic people insights and ensure consistent, fair and effective people practices.
Responsibilities
• Coach managers on performance management, feedback and team development
• Support leaders through complex people situations, organisational change and team dynamics
• Build leadership capability by embedding sound people practices
• Use people insights, storytelling and modern AI tools to influence decision-making
• Contribute to talent development, onboarding and engagement initiatives
• Ensure consistency and fairness across people processes and cycles
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate learning and enablement products
• Facilitate conflict resolution and mediate challenging team situations
• Strengthen employee relations and escalate higher‑risk matters appropriately
• Support workforce management, including headcount planning and forecasting talent needs
Requirements
• Experience as a People/HR Business Partner in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented organisation
• Strong background in performance management, leadership coaching and team effectiveness
• Confident, curious and able to bring calm judgement and healthy challenge
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, organisational change and scaling environments
• Skilled in applying modern People practices with strong professional judgement
• Commercially minded, autonomous and able to build strong relationships across teams
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder‑management skills
• Useful but not essential: experience in B2B or enablement environments, learning or consultancy backgrounds, change management exposure, or HR‑related qualifications
