Adrian Lloyd – Partner, Episode 1 Ventures
Adrian has a management and strategic consulting background and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. He worked across multiple industries in Europe and Asia, where he founded Marakon Associates’ China office. He is currently a Partner at Episode 1 Ventures, an early stage software investment fund that invests £0.25 to £1m into UK-based software start-ups. Adrian is also a mentor at TechStars London.
Michael Langdon – Chairman, Rutland Partners
After a career with PwC where he qualified as a chartered accountant and later specialised in investigative, consultancy and corporate finance work for large multinational clients, Michael founded Rutland Partners in 1986. He has been central to determining both its investment strategy and its transition from a quoted industrial holding company into a UK focused mid-market private equity fund. Michael has chaired both Rutland funds to date and also chairs the Rutland Investment Committee. He has an intimate knowledge of the portfolio and oversees team and partnership issues.
Tom Lindsay – Partner, Spayne Lindsay & Co
Tom is a Chartered Accountant (KPMG) and graduate of Manchester University. He has over 20 years investment banking experience having worked for Robert Fleming and Lehman Brothers, both in the UK and USA. Tom has covered the Consumer sector for most of his career. In 2000, Tom co-founded Spayne Lindsay & Co – an independent advisory firm providing high-quality financial advisory services to companies in the international Consumer sector. Tom is also currently a board member of Eminate, which commercialises university-inspired research and innovation.
