A global leader in the design, marketing and distribution of premium lifestyle products is seeking data scientist, to join their global customer insights team.

You will be responsible for will helping the Data Science team discover the information hidden in vast amounts of customer data, as well as help them make data driven decisions to deliver better products, service and relevance to consumers. Utilising advanced analytics tools like Dataiku, you will be responsible for extracting insights, building predictive models, and generating actionable recommendations to optimise customer experiences and drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilise Dataiku and other analytical tools to extract, clean, and explore customer data from various sources.
  • Identify patterns, trends, and correlations within the data to uncover actionable insights.
  • Develop predictive models and algorithms to forecast customer behaviour, preferences, next best action.
  • Implement machine learning techniques to segment customers and personalise marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance CRM strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Generate comprehensive customer profiles and personas based on behavioural, transactional, and demographic data.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to improve customer engagement, satisfaction, and loyalty.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years experience in data analysis, statistical modelling, and machine learning techniques.
  • Proficiency in using Dataiku or similar data science platforms for data manipulation and modelling e.g. Alteryx, Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in the fashion industry or luxury retail sector is a plus.
  • Inquisitive and curious with a passion for statistical modelling.

  • 12-month FTC.
  • Start date: ASAP.
  • Hybrid working - 3 days in central London office.
  • Salary £50,000
