There are plenty of useful posts on the FreshMinds blog about how, as a candidate, you can build your personal brand (here’s one example) and one big tip is to get great academics or professional qualifications. The business equivalent is winning awards - and we do quite a lot of that at FreshMinds Talent. We’ve just won two great recruitment industry awards, Best Small Business to Work For and Business Manager of the Year.
But what does this mean to me, I hear you ask? Well, I don’t hear it, but I imagine that’s what you’re thinking. What’s great about the first award is that you know we look after the team here at FreshMinds, which means we will treat you well. We’re a great company to work for (we’re also a Sunday Times Top 100 Employer), so we understand what a great workplace looks like, and that’s what we look for when we’re looking for jobs for you.
Catriona Drysdale, Head of Interim, won Business Manager of the Year for our Interim Consultancy business, and that means we’ve got a roster of very happy clients and lots of interesting work for you as candidates.
We very nearly swept the board, as we were also shortlisted for Best Interim Recruiter, Best Permanent Recruiter and Business Leader of the Year. But if we’d have won those, we would have won every award of the night, and that just wouldn’t have been fair on the others. Here’s to next year!
