James Callander
Managing Director, FreshMinds Talent
James joined FreshMinds in 2003 from Roland Berger and was appointed Managing Director of FreshMinds Talent in 2008. He has been responsible for launching and directing some of FreshMinds’ most successful business units, including the highly successful private equity team and Interim Talent brand.
In his previous role as Head of Innovation, he worked with the group's founders to establish new business ventures. These included the social media agency FreshNetworks, with James helping the innovative company win £5million of investment through the 2008 Bank of Scotland Corporate Entrepreneur Challenge. In 2010, James stood as a parliamentary candidate for Midlothian.
Adam Clements
Chief Operations Officer
Adam is Chief Operations Officer of the FreshMinds Group, including both the Research and Talent brands. Prior to joining FreshMinds, Adam was a founder of Key Revolution Ltd, a company that span out of Vodafone Plc. Before that, he was Operations Director at Morse Plc in the UK and France.
An MBA, Adam has extensive Procurement, M&A and Finance experience, and also headed up Morse’s Partner Sales channel for 2 years of above-target performance.
Charlie Osmond
Co-founder
Charlie founded FreshMinds with Caroline Plumb in 2000, just after leaving university. An entrepreneur for as long as he can remember - at school he set up in competition with the tuck shop and established an importation company specialising in Italian toys - in 2003 he was named London Entrepreneur of the Year, The Carlton Young Business Person of the Year and voted by Growing Business magazine as one of the UK's "Next Generation of Entrepreneurs".
Prior to FreshMinds, Charlie worked in Interactive Marketing at P&G. As Strategy and Marketing Director for FreshNetworks Charlie works with a number of charities to promote entrepreneurialism amongst young people and has acted as a special advisor to various government departments on this topic. Charlie is a fellow of the British American Project, a member of the Young Presidents Organisation (YPO) and holds a Master's in Engineering, Economics and Management from Oxford University. He’s an occasional blogger and in his spare time keeps fit for his annual triathlon (once a year's enough) and competes as part of the FreshMinds sailing team at international match-racing regattas. The team recently reached a ranking of 28th in the world
Caroline Plumb
Co-founder & Managing Director, FreshMinds Research
Caroline Plumb is Co-founder and CEO of FreshMinds Group, the business she co-founded in September 2000 straight after graduating from Oxford University. Fresh Group today consists of 3 agencies employing over 100 fulltime staff and named one of The Sunday Times Top 100 Best Small Companies to Work for 2010.
FreshMinds Research is a leading research consultancy, twice-winner of the Market Research Society’s Best Agency award. FreshMinds Talent is a recruitment business specialising in high-fliers within strategy and research. The newest group company is FreshNetworks, founded in 2008 and already one of the UK’s leading social media agencies with 35 employees and numerous awards.
In 2010 Caroline was appointed by the Prime Minister as one of the UK’s 30 Business Ambassadors. She also sits on the board of the Saïd Business School in Oxford, and on the advisory panel for the £1.4bn Regional Growth Fund.
Paul Sandry
Director of Human Resources
Paul is the Group Director of Human Resources and is responsible for all aspects of FreshMinds people strategy including growing, developing and retaining the FreshMinds and FreshNetworks teams. Paul joined FreshMinds in 2011 following five years in the advertising and new media sectors within WPP operating companies. At WPP he led human resources and had responsibility for recruitment, learning, development and talent management functions.
Over the span of his career, he has owned and run a successful recruitment agency servicing the technology sector as well as consulted with multinational companies globally in the implementation of enterprise software solutions. Paul holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois as well as a Master's Degree in Human Resources Management from New School University in New York City.
Helen Trim
Managing Director, FreshNetworks
Helen has been immersed in digital for over 15 years, translating between marketing and technical teams in companies that include Sun Microsystems and United News and Media.
She successfully founded and exited from new media agency Chord9 and was on the board for Sift - a publisher specialising in monetising online communities. She joined FreshMinds co-founders Caroline Plumb and Charlie Osmond in 2008 to launch FreshNetworks.
Working with brands such as Baxter Healthcare, the Foreign Office, Centaur Media PLC, RS Components, Office Depot and 3M, Helen brings a wealth of marketing, digital and social media experience to FreshNetworks, ensuring that clients receive a commercial, strategic approach to social.
Helen is a keen but slow runner, forcing herself to regularly enter half marathons so she can pursue her love of red wine and sticky toffee pudding.
