Research Analyst for a Leading E-commerce Company

£130 - £200 per day

A leading e-commerce company is searching for a Marketing Analyst to work between their London and Paris office due to an increase in project activity.  This role will be working across a number of key activities from organic and targeted campaigns and internal/external customer analysis. This is a great opportunity to work with a leading household name and in a team which is at the forefront of growing their business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysing search activity on the company’s website and google analytics to draw recommendations on search terms and key trends
  • Identifying the percentage of sales per customer and drawing insight into those which haven’t converted
  • Analsying competitors to draw insight into their products and services
  • Regularly communicating sales trends and insights to marketing and commercial teams so that campaigns and general activity can be targeted

Alongside the above, there will be a number of other ad hoc projects throughout the contract. You will be reporting to a line manager in Paris but also working alongside a marketing team in London.


  • Minimum of 2.1 undergraduate degree from a leading University
  • Fluent written and spoken French
  • Ability to draw insight from data and make recommendations
  • Intermediate Excel skills (minimum of VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables)
  • SQL and Tableau (desired but not essential)
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail


  • Start Date: early January
  • Duration: 4-5 months
  • Day Rate: £130 - £200 PAYE depending on experience
  • Location: 3 days in London & 2 days in Paris (expenses paid in Paris)
