Project Manager, Mining Sustainability Review

Be at the forefront of sustainability improvement in the mining industry as Project Manager for an international review. Reporting to the Senior Programme Manager, the Project Manager will coordinate the research being undertaken, the engagement with stakeholder groups and the reporting of results from the review.

Responsibilities

  • Organise interviews and working groups to review current sustainability and environmental affairs best practice in the mining industry

  • Manage communication with senior management, industry experts and other key stakeholders

  • Support the working groups in gathering and structuring research, knowledge sharing and documentation

  • Draft final reports and presentation materials

Requirements

  • Management consultant with strong project management skills

  • Demonstrable experience leading interviews and working groups

  • Highly organised and able to coordinate multiple activity streams

  • Experience of sustainable development or environmental affairs in mining would be beneficial

  • Start date: Monday 1st April

  • Duration: 8 – 10 months

  • Location: London

  • Salary: £75 – 80,000 pro rata, fixed term contract
