A recognised leader in private healthcare is looking for a Project Manager to support the team on a project across more than 30 hospitals in the UK.

There are currently 39 hospitals all operating with different tools and rate cards. There are 150 (Excel) tools in use and that diversity is preventing the ability to roll-out new initiatives efficiently.

The team is currently comprised of three but there is plenty of growth potential and several initiatives to be actioned. The first of these initiatives is standardizing tools so that future changes to pricing can be performed at speed.   The focus of this project will be to work closely with these hospitals to deliver the set of tools which are already designed.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Consolidating variety of tools from 150 to just 1-5 tools to be used in operation
  • Running the pilot (likely to be outside of London)
  • Talking to hospital contacts to understand the different approaches and how they are proceeding: they would like to have a tick box about who is using tools
  • Designing the journey/road to implementation
  • Working closely with hospitals explaining the tools and demonstrating the value of moving to new tools
  • Moving tools from Excel to SAP

  • Project management experience
  • Very strong on communication and stakeholder management
  • Healthcare experience
  • Open to travel. Most hospitals are spread across the country.
  • Ability to formulate reports and present your findings to internal and external stakeholders with support

  • Start date: May
  • Duration: 3 months
  • Day rate: £200-250 PAYE, £240-300 Ltd
  • Location: London office and company’s hospitals
