Pricing Strategy Lead, Health Retailer

£600 - £800 per day

Lead the pricing strategy for a multinational health retailer. The company is undergoing a strategic transformation and improving their value proposition. You will assess the current offering and strategic alignment with the transformation project to develop an internal pricing strategy for the retailer.

Key responsibilities

  • Complete an end-to-end review of the current retail pricing strategy, including an assessment of pricing processes, quality of inputs, and resulting market position
  • Determine the optimal pricing strategy for the business in the near term, with consideration of longer-term aspirations and requirements to achieve it
  • Design and manage the process to deliver the near-term strategy. Including leadership of the analytical team and execution of pricing changes
  • Design an ongoing pricing review process to ensure that pricing is monitored and updated in line with the overarching strategy.

Consultant profile

  • Strong pricing strategy experience, preferably B2C
  • Consulting experience from a strategy or management consultancy
  • Diplomatic and able to engage with senior executives
  • Strong analytical and modelling skills

  • Duration: 3 months (likely to extend to 6 months)
  • Location: UK
  • Day rate: £600 – £750 limited company, dependent on experience
