General Manager for Global Sports Nutrition Brand

£500 - £800 per day

Fast growing global sports nutrition company are looking for a hands on Interim General Manager to help growth in a new market. The company has a large presence in Europe and has recently entered the US market. You will be reporting directly to the global CEO and have the responsibility of managing a major account which will be key to the growth of the US market share. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and improve processes in relation to order management, logistics, finances and marketing, including staff and the distributor agreement(s)
  • Review and develop the quarterly and annual business plan in line with  global strategy, manage the sales pipeline and budget, and conduct top-level product pricing analysis
  • Order stock in line with distributor demand and maintain thorough records of stock levels and order sizes

 

Requirements:

  • Previous demonstrable experience in FMCG ideally as a Commercial Manager / Sales Manager 
  • Experience managing the end to end process around the sales and distribution of products
  • Strong experience of e-commerce businesses and operating multi-channel sales
  • Ability to work autonomously and embrace the challenges of growing a key area of the business

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: 3 months
  • Day Rate: £500-£800 (limited company rate, depending on experience)
  • Location: Flexibility to work from anywhere in the USA, as all operations are online.
