Our client, a FTSE 100 listed business, is looking for a Corporate Development Senior Manager / Director to come in and work closely with the SVP Corporate Development. This person will strategically and financially support the acquisition opportunities, manage the end-to-end acquisition process cross-functionally, and develop and maintain operating controls and systems.  

This is a key position within the organisation and will support the Corporate Development team, working closely with colleagues and senior executives in the global business lines including EVPs and their CFOs.

Responsibilities

  • Identify new potential acquisition opportunities in existing and new markets
  • Managing the acquisition process end-to-end, including the due diligence, work streams, negotiations and board presentations.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining acquisition operating controls and systems, which includes compliance checks, post-acquisition performance and successful integration.

Requirements

  • Ideally, someone with at least 3-4 years in Consulting followed by a couple of years experience within M&A / Corporate Development or transaction management.
  • Strong financial acumen, data analysis and financial modelling skills, preferable experience leading and running deals end-to-end.
  • Strong senior stakeholder management and communication ability
