A government-funded organisation is looking for a Fund Development Analyst to provide strategic support on an interim basis. This organisation aims to support young people and inspire them to develop their careers by connecting them with employers and careers programme providers.

They have committed to investing £20m in proven programmes to connect schools and businesses as well as a further £15m in match funding.

The Contract and Quality Analyst role is a new position within the company, with support being required in the interim until a permanent solution is found. There may, therefore, be the opportunity for a permanent position depending on performance.

Key responsibilities include:

Understanding impact:

  • Work with the team’s policy and data analysts and third-party fund manager, ensuring their systems and processes support to grant recipients to provide the teams with the information they need around grant recipient performance

Measuring and assessing the quality of provision:

  • Work with the  research team, external evaluators, and their third-party fund managers to design systems and processes to provide the monitoring data required to support their internal Management Information and evaluation requirements
  • Support the development and collation of feedback from evaluation of funded beneficiaries and ensure that feedback is being incorporated into future investment rounds and contracting

Contracting:

  • Identify appropriate contracting and payment mechanisms that encourage grant recipients to deliver high impact programmes, for example considering payment by results

Candidate Requirements

  • Graduate within a business or numerically-focused discipline or have equivalent training/work experience
  • Previous experience in contract management/quality assurance systems
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
  • Experienced in producing meaningful reports and presentations.
  • Experience working independently towards agreed deadlines
