Are you an analyst with experience conducting in-depth secondary research? We want to hear from you!

Our client is one of Europe’s largest suppliers of industrial maintenance, repair and overhaul products and services.

They are currently searching for a talented junior analyst to support on a customer segmentation project. Our client is conducting a wider project, with the help of ex-Bain and ex-McKinsey consultants, into the markets they are currently penetrating, and potential opportunities for future expansion. They need you to match a list of potential customers with those already in their internal database, whilst concurrently checking for areas of opportunity. This will involve working in Excel, performing online research and liaising internally with key members of the team.


  • Using online sources to match information with internal database.
  • Provide updates and notes to the team / CRM of important client changes (may have been a number of years since the client engaged and there have been important changes the team need to be aware of).
  • Reach out to internal staff for reference checks.


  • An Engineering degree would be extremely beneficial.
  • Experience using Excel.
  • Analytical mind set
  • Ability to conduct desk based research
  • Ability to hit the ground running and work autonomously
  • Commercial awareness and ability to make recommendations if required


  • Start date: ASAP
  • Duration: 3 months
  • Location: Client site 5 days a week
  • Day rate: £120 PAYE
  • Process: Telephone call
