Are you an analyst with experience conducting in-depth secondary? We want to hear from you!

Our client work with established business owners to re-capitalise, transform and sell business assets. They provide 3 main client services:

Raising awareness of their clients’ business and setting up a UK presence where needed

Introducing them to potential strategic and financial investors or performing a full-scale sale process if divestment is required

Restructuring, support and consultancy to help their clients achieve corporate objectives

They are currently working with a large technology company on a strictly confidential project, which will involve reviewing the consumer market through in-depth competitor analysis. You will be expected to conduct secondary market research, looking at all the already accessible data online, before transferring into Excel and manipulating to draw out valuable insight.


  • Carry out competitor analysis through analysing pre-existing data
  • Spot trends in the data and draw insights
  • Visualise your findings in charts/graphs in Excel
  • Transfer these graphs onto a PowerPoint presentation along with your insights
  • Write up a report of your findings


  • 1-2 years of commercial experience
  • Proven experience using Excel and PowerPoint in a commercial environment
  • Good command of Excel (ability to produce graphs/charts from data)
  • Experience in data analysis
  • Ability to spot trends in data and draw conclusions
  • Previous experience in consumer technology is a plus


  • Start date: ASAP
  • Duration: Initial 4 weeks
  • Location: Client site 3-4 days a week, remote work 1-2 days a week
  • Day rate: £120-140 PAYE (travel expenses covered)
