The Role

A client in the corporate real estate consultancy sector is seeking a Senior Workplace Change Consultant to join the team for a 12-18 month engagement.

You will act as the senior, day-to-day change lead embedded within a client organisation, delivering a large-scale workplace change programme from mobilisation through to post-implementation. Reporting into a light-touch senior programme sponsor, the objective of the role is to translate workplace strategy into practical delivery and embed sustainable new ways of working.

Responsibilities

  • Design and lead end-to-end workplace change programmes through full implementation
  • Act as the senior day-to-day workplace change lead within the client organisation
  • Engage, influence and manage complex and potentially resistant stakeholder groups
  • Develop, own and deliver the change roadmap from mobilisation to post-implementation review
  • Lead communications, engagement and adoption activities to embed new ways of working
  • Translate agreed workplace principles into practical, on-the-ground delivery plans
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy and accountability for delivery outcomes
  • Represent the consultancy with senior client stakeholders throughout the assignment
  • Work effectively with limited delivery support and light senior oversight

Requirements

  • Director-level profile or equivalent senior experience
  • Recent, demonstrable experience leading workplace change programmes end-to-end
  • Strong hands-on implementation leadership rather than advisory-only experience
  • Clear personal accountability for delivery, outcomes and decision-making
  • Proven experience operating in politically and culturally complex environments
  • Credibility and confidence engaging senior client stakeholders from day one
  • Resilient, pragmatic and people-centred approach to change
