We’re working with a growing energy consultancy that has been immersed in the world of renewable energy for over fifteen years. They are looking for a dynamic analyst to help in their mission, informing and educating clients on low-carbon energy.

Project

The successful analyst will have the opportunity to delve into the achievements of clean energy in the UK. Our client is seeking support in a series of low-carbon heating projects in the aim to assess a city’s ability to cater to cleaner energy. Placed in the heart of London they will be gathering, analysing and transforming data for their clients. There will also be opportunity for the individual to gain hands on experience within other areas of the consultancy and work on a number of projects simultaneously. 

Responsibilities 

Key tasks include:

  • Stakeholder engagement and data gathering 

  • Understanding and informing policy decision making based on insight gathered

  • Preparation of reports in PowerPoint and Word

  • Opportunity to facilitate workshops and delivery of insight to internal and external stakeholders

Candidate Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor degree in physical science, engineering or other quantitative subject 

  • Interest in low carb energy

  • 6 months functional experience 

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills

  • Strong Excel skills including ability to structure and carry out extensive calculations with high accuracy. 

  •  

Preferred

  • Prior experience in at least one of: energy modelling, low carbon heat and/or financial modelling

  • Advanced degree (e.g Masters, PhD) in physical science, engineering or other quantitative subject

  • Day rate: £140 - £160 PAYE

  • Employment 3 months
