A UK-based international development institution is looking to conduct an assessment and review of their operations to identify gaps and risks, as well as to allow them to improve accordingly. They thus need the support of a consultant with demonstrable operational excellence experience and a solid understanding of how government portfolio of grants works.
Your role will be strategic and delivery-focused: you will conduct a 360 degrees operational assessment, presenting finding and tangible recommendations to key stakeholders within the organisation.
Objectives will include:
Assess current operations, conducting interviews and reviewing documents as needed, in order to draw a picture of the ‘as is’ operating model;
Identify gaps, risks and opportunities, undertaking primary and secondary research whilst benchmarking best in class operations;
Provide tangible, actionable recommendations to improve operations’ efficiency and effectiveness.
Operational excellence experience, with successful track record of leading operating model reviews and organisational assessments;
Strong understand or experience with portfolio of grants and / or organisations that manage a portfolio of grants.
Start: end of August
Duration: 6-8 weeks
Salary: £450-500 LTD
