A leading sports body have defined their 2021 strategy and require an Interim Strategy Manager to lead and implement a number of initiatives across the business. Key project examples include defining a strategy around bringing crowds back safely in response to the Covid-19 pandemic as well as how to increase youth participation in sport.

The body require a consultant to work closely with key stakeholders to ensure that there is alignment of communications, strategic support is provided, plans are in keeping with minimum standards, deadlines are met, and deliverables are communicated across the board. Excellent stakeholder management is a must as well as the ability to project manage each initiative effectively. 

Skills and profile

• Consulting experience (strategy)

• Willingness to and demonstrable experience of engaging with stakeholders in a fast-growing consumer business

• Project management/PMO background

• Excellent communication, engagement, and management skills

• Analytical ability

• Salary: £60-£65k (pro-rata)
