Background & Client problem

The client is a company who provides a range of services to maritime assets: technical service, crew management and recruitment. After undertaking a strategic review, the company defined 12 projects to be delivered over the next year. One of these projects focused on creating a target operating model for a consulting function able to support clients with the identification of cost-savings through the analysis of fleet data. They required a consultant to help establish a scalable methodology for its delivery.

Key Challenge

The consultant would need to be fluent in Portuguese and able to relocate to Brazil for the duration of the project. Relevant sector experience (maritime, oil and gas) would be beneficial as it would help stress-test assumptions.
