You'll have at least three years' experience within contingent and/ or retained recruitment sales, a track record of outstanding performance against target, a curious mind and strong entrepreneurial flair.

The Team

E&EH work with exceptional strategic, analytical, commercial individuals across two key offerings. Experienced Hire (65-150K) spans a broad range of commercial roles and opportunities in strategy & corporate development for mid-senior consultants, strategic industry specialists and investment professionals. Executive Hire (150-500K) is designed for senior professionals who combine consulting and in-house management experience with functional / sector expertise and are looking to pursue senior management/ director/ Head of/ CXO level roles.

The role

In a role with a high level of autonomy and significant opportunities for growth you will:

  • Take a truly consultative approach to sales, developing trust-based relationships and strategic partnerships with C-Suite, Partners and Senior Management across leading consultancies, PE & VC firms, family offices, high-growth start-ups & major global corporates

Reporting to the Head of E&EH, you’ll be responsible for developing new accounts from scratch and selling contingent and retained work at both the Experienced and Executive levels, running delivery processes in partnership with the Candidate Management team; and advising clients on assessment methods, project design and hiring strategies – areas in which you’ll seek to continually build knowledge and expertise.

Helping to shape and grow the business you’ll be involved with process improvement, product development and training and mentoring and you’ll be expected to constantly grow your network and promote the Freshminds brand: attending events; arranging speaking opportunities; and contributing thought leadership, content and ideas for wider marketing activities.

What we’re looking for

  • A strong academic profile and relevant experience: 3 years+ in contingent / retained recruitment sales – exposure to professional services/ tech/ digital/ private equity is an advantage but not essential
  • A strategic, commercial thinker with a passion for new business development: you’ll have excellent negotiation skills and a nose for new opportunities and you’ll have a proven track record of initiating, developing and retaining productive business relationships
  • Drive and tenacity: you’ll care deeply about providing a great service; you’ll be excited about the opportunity to set your own direction; you’ll demonstrate originality and enthusiasm in your approach to challenges
  • Professional credibility: well-informed and on top of market and industry trends, you’ll possess both the understanding of business issues and the confidence, gravitas and exceptional verbal and written communications skills required to establish consultative, trust-based relationships with high calibre clients
  • An excellent self-manager: you’ll be equipped with the organisational skills required to juggle multiple projects, stakeholders and targets
