The environment: guaranteeing a future
We understand the importance of managing our environmental impact and are working with Camden Council to achieve a challenging 10% reduction in our (already low) carbon emissions by 2012. We recycle extensively and choose FairTrade products wherever possible. When it comes to the environment, every little helps, and we’re noticing that even the smallest changes can have a major impact: by switching to duplex printing we’ve cut our paper usage by a massive 40%. And using 100% recycled paper has only serve to amplify this effect.
Our most successful initiative to date has been the government Ride2Work scheme, through which our staff have enjoyed up to 50% savings on new bikes. The dual health and environmental benefits of this are clear to see, although the queue for the shower in the morning has increased considerably!
