Our people

Everyone says their people are different, and of course they are. FreshMinds' people are smart, ambitious, creative and commercially-minded.

They are driven to achieve personally, for their clients and their team. Success in our day-to-day work depends on a healthy dose of teamwork and collaboration as well as individual achievement. At FreshMinds, you’ll find the whole is truly greater than the sum of its parts. Promoting an open and diverse culture generates new ideas, promotes better decision making and helps us attune our company to the needs of our clients. Though a diverse group of individuals, they share a common ambition: to make a difference.

Personal growth and development

In addition to challenging projects that provide our people the opportunity to grow, your development is closely monitored to ensure that you have the best opportunities to reach your full potential. This begins with a personal induction plan for your first three months at FreshMinds, which we call the Climbing Frame. Our performance review system will help you to identify and fully use your strengths and improve upon your weaknesses. In addition to bi-annual evaluations, our performance culture ensures that you will also receive project and on-going informal feedback.

On-going training is also a big part of our commitment and we have the distinction of being recognized as an Investor in People. Each of you will have access to a personal training and development budget to equip you with the tools you’ll need to be successful. Coaching and regular company-wide training is also available throughout the year ranging from line manager training and booster sessions to team specific trainings such as our Digital Bootcamp, research methodology training and interviewing skills, to name a few.

We also take our teams out of the office to focus, as a team, on a particular business issues or to help us formulate business strategy. The day typically combines learning and development with some fun, social or charitable activities that provide us with an opportunity give back to society while strengthening team bonds.

FreshMinds exposes staff to things that will help development and offers opportunity to pursue this, and then there's an obvious sense of care about staff welfare, recognition and reward. Plus things like the Friday Morning Meeting which are very much designed to build and maintain company cohesion so it still feels quite 'small company' despite having over 100 staff.  After coming from somewhere that had zero interest in its staff and gave no attempt to helping their development, it's a massive breath of fresh air.
